Here are the books in my mini read-a-thon March 11-12
This was a lovely little novel of Artemis and the beginning of her story as a goddess. I really enjoyed the various aspects of Greek mythology that was included, while still allowing for a good narrative. I’d be very interested in reading other books in this series.
Very interesting retelling of Arthurian legend. I have always loved tales of Arthur, Merlin, and Camelot; and was so happy to see this one. Told from Guinevere’s point of view, it gives yet another story that reworks legend into something else.
A fun and entertaining twist on the Robin Hood legend. I likes that the Sheriff was a hero this time, and that Marian was such a great heroine without it looking too forced.
This was a good fast paced horror-thriller book that left me on the edge of my seat and staying up past my bed time. The characters were well written and the story line was just complex enough that I was unable to predict everything that happened. Although there as a few very obvious foreshadowing parts, overall the main question was still: What strange danger lies beneath the surface of the ocean?
